M4G brought a strong social good component and did PR outreach for Red Bull’s 3 Days in Portland festival and an accompanying fashion show to raise awareness and enhance Red Bull’s reputation as a brand that gives back to the community. We worked with two renowned charities that serve the LGBTQ community: national non-profit The Ally Coalition and Portland’s Sankofa Collective Northwest.
The fashion show featured rising local designers who donated a percentage of sales proceeds to Sankofa Collective and The Ally Coalition. The fashion show was streamed via Facebook Live and garnered more than 300K views. The three sold-out show took place at Portland’s Wonder Ballroom and Crystal Ballroom. Numerous national & regional media outlets covered the events, including The Huffington Post, Portland Mercury, Oregon Live, NBC, Eyes & Edge Magazine and I-D Magazine.
